This book and CDRom has been created in response to the Aids pandemic in Southern Africa where more than 28,5 million people are currently infected by HIV/Aids and it is estimated that in South Africa alone half of the 15 year olds today will not reach their 25th birthday because they will die from Aids.
The Tabeisa team has been working in Southern Africa for nearly ten years and they have seen some of the dreadful human misery caused by HIV/Aids. The result is the Tabeisa book "How 2 B Aids Aware." So far over thirty thousand books have already been sold at cost price to African higher education institutions.
Recently Tabeisa has developed a series of case studies. These case studies explore themes of business and social entrepreneurship. Many of these case studies are currently being piloted by students in the Technikons.
These case studies were originally written and researched by entrepreneurship students and are based on businesses developed and supported by Tabeisa.

These case studies explore how entrepreneurial skills can be used to solve
problems and create new possibilities within a community context. The case
studies developed by Tabeisa are based on various AIDs projects throughout
Africa. These case studies form part of a learning material package which
aims to raise awareness about HIV and AIDs by engaging students in the development
of their own AIDs awareness projects within their own communities and institutions.
These materials are presently generating a lot of excitement and activity
amongst students who working with them.
